There are many ways in which a London Broil, which is a lean and healthy piece of meat in the same style as a Pot Roast, can be cooked. I call my favorite recipe for how to cook London Broil “Simply London”. I’ve shared my recipe for London Broil below.
Season the London Broil on both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and brown it in a cast iron frying pan. This helps to lock in the flavor and the juices. In a crock pot, mix a can of beef gravy, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of celery soup. Place the London Broil in the crockpot and spoon soup mixture over the top. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to taste or omit if not desired. This dish is reasonably healthy as it is a very good cut of meat with little fat and slow cooked. It is fabulous if enjoyed with a red wine.
