3. Place pork on baking sheet and cover with bread crumb mix on both sides.

Start with a four to five pound piece of skin-on pork belly, best with the ribs. Prepare a brine first, boiling a combination of one and a quarter cup of sugar, a pinch of salt, peppercorn, a few bay leaves, a dozen juniper berries, and a dozen cloves in four quarts of water. Once the brine has completely cooled, marinate the pork belly in it in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours. If desired, the marinade can be left for as long as 3 days. When it’s ready to be roasted, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Drain the pork belly and rub with olive oil and a little salt before placing on 2 chopped onions for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours.

How to Cook Italian Sausage

An Italian Sausage (in most places) is a regular pork sausage infused with spices and herbs such as fennel or anise. Italian Sausage is great in many different recipes. My favorite is a pasta dish I call “Italian Sausage and Zucchini Pasta”.

You will need the following ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3-4 medium zucchini, sliced in to rounds
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 16 oz wide egg noodles

Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Using a large non-stick skillet heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Add the sausage and cook 7-8 minutes or until browned. Set aside.
3. To the skillet add the zucchini, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Cook until zucchini is lightly browned.
4. Add the noodles to the pot and boil for 8-12 minutes. Drain and toss with the other ingredients. Serve immediately.

Once you learn how to cook Italian sausage the recipes can be adapted in many ways. Italian sausage is a good source of protein and is healthy in moderation.

How to Cook Baby Back Ribs

Wondering how to cook baby back ribs? The key to getting delicious fall-off-the-bone ribs is how fast you cook them. I’ll give you a clue: Faster is not better. To get tender ribs, cook them slowly.

This is how to cook baby back ribs

For starters, place your ribs on aluminum foil. Coat the ribs with a large amount of store bought dry rub. Fold and seal the foil over the ribs. Then set the ribs in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Mix together 1 cup white wine, 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoons honey and a 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Heat this for 1 minute.

Put the ribs on a baking sheet. Open up foil pouch and pour in your liquid. Reseal the foil pouch.
Bake at a 250 degree F oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Drain the liquid from the packets into a sauce pan. Bring the liquid to a low boil until the liquid is a thick syrup. Brush the syrup onto the ribs. Broil the ribs.

Serve your baby back ribs with coleslaw, potato salad, corn, or baked beans.

Prepare your ribs by placing them on an aluminum foil covered baking sheet and covering them completely with the Memphis dry rub. Spray a sheet of aluminum foil with cooking oil, place ribs in center and wrap the ribs in the foil. Place them on your baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees for three hours. After three hours remove them from the oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes before unwrapping. Once the ribs have cooled to safe handling temperature slather them with bbq sauce and serve!
